Tom Morello , guitarist for Rage Against The Machine , Rami Jaffe , keyboardist for Foo Fighters , Cherie Currie , vocalist for The Runaways , Kathy Valentine , bassist for The Go-Go’s , and more: big names joined forces to perform a cover of the classic “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics alongside the Afghan band The Miraculous Love Kids / Girl With a Guitar . The goal? To help young women in war-torn countries.

“I feel a moral and spiritual imperative to awaken humanity, particularly my brothers and sisters in the music community, to help give voice to the terrible plight of girls affected by poverty and war,” explains founder and musician Lanny Cordola . “Why girls? Because they go through the worst things: forced into child marriages, deprived of their rights, and exploited in every imaginable way.”

“The girls are learning about the world through rock n' roll and have begun to discover the wonders and magic of the guitar with this incredible cast of soulful American musicians, who offered their services with great generosity and enthusiasm,” Lanny adds.
